If you wish to join our club.....read the following
I agree to comply with the following rules in relation to club/rally etiquette and safety:
1. That the values of the BDFEG Inc. are to encourage participation, to promote equestrian activities, to display good sportsmanship and to display excellent care of our horses.
2.To provide help at a BDFEG competition day. If I am unable to attend myself I will arrange for someone else to do my duty for me. The committee will not be responsible for finding a replacement. I accept that if I do not provide help, my membership for the following year may not be accepted
3. To wear an approved helmet when mounted and appropriate footwear at all times.
4.That BDFEG uniform must be worn at all official HRCAV events. Whilst in uniform, members are representatives of the BDFEG and must conduct themselves in a manner reflective of the values of the club. Members are to be presented in a neat and tidy fashion, and to display good sportsmanship.
5.To assist with the set up and/or pack up of equipment when participating at rallies.
6. That any lessons cancelled less then 72hrs before start time will need to be paid for unless a replacement rider can be found.
7.To show courtesy to instructors at all times. (on joining or leaving a group session).
8.To be aware of the safety of other riders at all times, e.g. to give way to riders under instruction, acknowledge right of way during lessons etc.
9. When attending rallies at the Maldon Racecourse Reserve only user group members can ride on the the facility.
I accept that horse riding is a hazardous sport and indemnify Bendigo and District Family Equestrian Group Inc against any claim for injury/damage suffered whilst engaging in this sport.
By making this payment I confirm that I agree to be bound by and to comply with all the rules, regulations and policies of BDFEG and the HRCAV.
